Memories have been flooding back to me since my mother passed away. She fought cancer for a brief six months and unexpectedly died in July of 2007. I was not ready for her to leave but then again, are we ever ready to let go of our loved ones? She was a remarkable woman and I miss her dearly. Memories flood back at random moments and stop me in my tracks. I can see a flower, smell a scent, hear a sound or a worship song, and it makes me think of her. The list goes on and on. All I know is that life is VERY short and I plan to make the most of it and cherish each moment I have with my loved ones.
This lampwork bracelet has two pink lampwork beads that I created using a pink frit that makes it fun and playful. The two black lampwork beads are lightly encased. Freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads are scattered throughout and in case you can't see it very well, the toggle is a flower. It all comes together nicely and makes a bracelet that can be worn with different shades of pink.
